Sofia has been involved in the study of self improvement, spiritual development and the human energy field for the past twelve years. She completed an intensive four year study program at the Ritberger Medical Intuition Training Institute and completed her massage certification training at the Massage School of Santa Monica. She then continued advanced training in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Release and Intuitive Body Listening at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur. During her studies and work experience, Sofia's interests have grown to also to include Reiki Master training.
John finds inspiration in his professional life through the art of therapeutic healing touch and his personal spiritual journey. He feels that the two combined create the positive results he has seen in his practice. John has discovered that the client has a lot to do with their own healing either by processing in silence or communicating verbally. In doing this the individual is creating a space that is conducive to their own maximal healing potential. His work has assisted in restoring lack of movement due to daily activities and work related injuries, improving circulation, bringing awareness and health to the physical and emotional bodies, releasing built up tension, promoting relaxation, improving mental clarity, reducing headaches, and harmonizing the entire body. John received his massage training at the McKinnon Institute in Oakland, CA where he studied Deep Tissue and Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Reflexology and Craniosacral Therapy. In recent years John has brought into his practice Hot Stone Therapy, Trigger Point Release and Prenatal Massage.
